Artificial Intelligence programmes are designed to improve students’ technical knowledge as well as critical thinking skills, while focussing on hands-on learning. Through block coding or Python programming, students will develop essential skills while exploring the fascinating concepts of AI in a supportive environment.

  • Dates: from 6th July until 3rd August 2025
  • Age groups:
    – Juniors: 10 – 13 years ( Programming with Machine Learning for Kids )
    – Seniors: 14 – 16 years ( Coding with Python )
  • 15 hours of lessons per week
  • Maximum of 12 students per class
  • Minimum level of English required: B1 ( Intermediate ), no coding experience needed.
  • 4.5 hours of informal learning through Team Project Challenges or Career Skills sessions alongside UK host students
  • Up to 8 hours of Academy* or Multi-Activity programme, joined by UK student hosts, who will provide lots of opportunities for conversation and extending English-language skills. The Academies to choose from are: Cookery; Flying; Golf; Horse-riding; Performing Arts; Polo; Robotics and Tennis.
  • Evening activities include: Talent shows, discos, karaoke evenings, film nights, capture-the-flag, Camp fire & marshmallows, inflatable obstacle course, quiz night, mini-Olympics…
  • 3 trips per week, including London, Oxford, Bath, Bristol and Tetbury. Excursions take place on Wednesdays ( half day ) , Saturdays ( half day ) and Sundays.

AI programme develops:
  • Understanding of AI, cryptocurrency and 21st century technologies
  • Practical skills to deal with real-world applications of AI
  • Ethical thinking about the responsible use of technology
  • Future-proof skills, including programming, critical thinking, problem solving and innovation
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial thinking
  • English Language Skills related to AI

WESTONBIRT SCHOOL

Westonbirt House is a beautiful place to live.

It reminds many of our pupils of Hogwarts with its extraordinary architecture and amazing interior decoration. Our bright and cosy single rooms and 2-5 bed dorms provide a comfortable and reassuring space for students to relax and sleep.

Rooms are allocated depending on numbers, but in general older students have priority for the single rooms.

Students are fully supported and cared for by experienced and friendly house staff, who make sure that their stay is safe and fun, with medical support available if necessary

Westonbirt School pupils all agree that meals here are absolutely delicious!

They are provided by top school caterers Holroyd Howe, who serve up a varied and nutritious range of meals, with enough choice to meet a wide range of dietary requirements.

Each day students will enjoy a hearty breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon tea and an evening meal.

Meals are taken in the beautiful and ornate dining rooms at Westonbirt.
